Ningbo is located at the middle part of China's eastern coastline and southern flank of the economically developed Yangtze River Delta, bordering on Shanghai and Hangzhou. In 2018, Ningbo-Zhoushan port topped worldwide in the light of its cargo throughput exceeding 10843.88 million tons, with an increase of 7.4 percent.
